I am just an average every day person.
I am not a professional or even an expert. I have just had enough life experience that through trial and error feel like I have learned a lot. I still have a lot to learn.
I know weight loss is not easy. I know that even overall health is not easy. I struggle just like most people!
I am a stay at home mom to one active little girl and one lucky wife to an amazing man. Health in all its forms became very important after I had my daughter for many reasons. In high school as so many people I was a very active teenager and spent hours on end working out participating in cheerleading. In college I put on almost 15 pounds and then after I got married I put on about 20 lbs in one year. It really hit me after having my daughter and knew that I could not be happy with myself if I continued to gain weight. While I was not obese I was definitely overweight and needed to loose weight. I started this journey two years ago and feel like I have learned so much in the process. Health has become less about weight to me (although I do strive to be a certain weight) and more about providing a healthy lifestyle for my family.
